Computer Upgrading

This past weekend I bought me a new computer case and monitor. over the next 2 months I'll be upgrading my PC just because I'm tired of looking at the old school stuff =\ But here are the links to what i have just purchased.

Soon I will be buying a 250 Gig Seagate HD, AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200/2.20 GHz Processor, 2x Kingston 1 Gig Ram Cards, and possibly a new mobo if I'm lucky. I'm curently using a Jetway n2PAP Lite which is ok, but I want something with more RAM slots.

Any Suggestions?

Yah dude, first off newegg is better then tigerdirect trust me. 2nd off I don't know what you are upgrading for and how much money you got, but I've been looking into upgrading for about 4 months and here is the best bang for your buck all the way around.

If you have a pci express video card then find a pci only board, but if you have an good agp card and wanna wait to upgrade your video card till later this last link is a great alternative and money saver for now and on future upgrades.

When and if I do upgrade my mobo anytime soon I will be going full PCI Express and possibly a duel 512 Geforce Sli vid configuration. But as many know that will be expensive and I may not ever get around to it, who knows.

My main concern is getting a new processor, right now i believe I am running an AMD 2100 if im not mistaken. Once I save up a bit of $$ I will be doing some research on the cheapest and best offer. After my monitor and case are installed this will no longer be an "upgraded" computer, it will be completely made from scratch by yours truely.

I'll look into newegg next time I buy some computer parts and see what kind of deals they have. Thank for the info
