We may be switching server locations depending on the majority votes. The best ping time location overall by vote will most likely be our new location. I am trying to keep everyones ping low. Well I don't quit understand the results I got. I live 2 hours from Atlanta and about 10 hours from NYC, yet I pinged better in NYC, wierd.
Here are my ping times
NYC 27.45
Chicago 34.89
Atlanta 35.47
Dallas 38.8
LA 66.58
Seattle 81.25
It would be better if everyone puts the ping for every server area, so that we can decide what is the best ping mix. Basically if noodle puts his best is dallas 25.05, but dallas is only 2 pts lower then atlanta (27.37) and other people ping better in nyc (25.83) but its only a few pts lower then atlanta(28.05) but lots lower then dallas(33.50), then we know that atlanta is the best for everyone.

SEA: 121.98
LA: 128.58
so either CHI or NYC would be good for me

Dallas --> 11.92
Chicago --> 27.79
Atlanta --> 37.39
LA --> 40.67
Seattle --> 51.92
NYC --> 54.2

Chicago is by far the best place for me and after that is doesn't really matter.
Noodle you have good ping no matter where you go.

for your information, NYC has the best servers because they dont have a heavy load of them such as chicago and dallas. also, more people live near NYC... yeah NYC is teh best.

Chicago's great for me.
atlanta and new york are good.
dallas is fine.
west coast servers ping bad.
chicago : 8.53
atlanta : 28.39
nyc : 31.67
dallas : 48.38
seattle : 58.35

Looks like Chicago may be our best bet for everyone. Ill let a few more people post some results and wait for the TWL match is over with before I switch.

Take note that Cookies said NYC is the best server location regaurdless of ping in some cases. I say everyone should go check out the usu server (located in nyc) and see how the ping is 66.55.131.91:7777
Then we need to find someone who is using a server located in Chicago and go on it and see how everyone pings.
That will give us a more realistic idea of what will work best for everyone.

Doesn't clanservers.com have trial servers set up in each city that we pinged? I thought I read on their website (in purchase section) that you could check out their servers in each location before buying.
From the data collected it looks like CHICAGO would be the logical choice...it is the most even for everyone so far except Noodles...he is rockin' on the Dallas server. Average ping in Chicago is approx. 35

PS I've played on the USU full server, it is alright for me...but IDA demo is actually a little better if that gives you my perspective.

I want to change my vote from NYC to Chicago, because I can't have dallas winning, it is one of my worste ping locations :/
